sticktm saidAnyone know if the creator of this UI have stopped updating it? Havent worked since the last patch(es)..Would be sad if the creator have decided to stop updating it, since this is the absolutely best UImod out there. None is even close to be as good as this. :)

Beytil saidIs it possible to change the top bar to be the main one? If I switch weapons and press Shift+2 it's the bottom bar that changes.
What lines in the files do I need to change for this to happen?

Open up BottomBar.xml in the \Age of Conan\cd_image\Gui\Customized\Views\HUD folder. Change the last </view> to </View> (capital V).

damean saidIm kinda bummed, ive been trying to get this mod working again since the last patch with no luck.. all the files have the correct number, and most of the mod shows up. The thing is i cant use the bars at all... my moves wont drag there, and it doesnt show the bars i have setup. None of the health bars or enemy health bars are showing up either... the framework is there, but its just a black backround and little boxes that dont do anything. Anyone experiencing the same problem or know a workaround?

Nocic87 said@Razukin; Yeah, i did that right after the patch. Didn't work. Or well, i manually checked about half of the files to see which one was causing the problem, then i got tired ^^ But the numberthingy is changed in every file.

Razukin saidNoci87, you probably need to update the mod manually, had to do the same thing myself as posted below.
Go into these folders: Age of Conan ->cd_image->Gui-Customized->views
Then you need to change EVERY xml file (everyone in the folders and the xpbar file in the views folder).
Open the files in notepad, on the second line you will see "change" and a bunch of numbers. The numbers stand for the current version. Erease the numbers and write in 51691. When you have done that to every XML file the mod should work perfectly again.
You will probably have to do this after every patch (once per week). And to find out what the new version numbers are, launch the game after the latest patch and read the out of date messages popping up.
Write back and tell me if it works, and if I made any sence with this^^

Razukin saidOk I found out how to update the mod. But I kinda messed around with some files so the bottombar didnt show^^ But now I know Im on the right track, so Im just downloading a new customized GUI folder and will update the version, then do the /View.

Razukin saidI tried the /View thing and it didnt work at all for me. The out of date messages still pop up when Im in the game menu. I looked the files up and everyone has a /View. Anyone know what to do? Im a guardian and we really have many icons on lvl 40 :P

First time it does not wok any more :( so sad. I am waiting your update so i can go play AoC again !

Grognar saidI use this mod also and had the same problem listed below. After using the AoC Custom UI Patcher my bottom hot bars had no icons. After digging around it seems one of the files for the mod has a typo. I fixed the typo and it works fine. I am by no means a programmer of any sorts so take this as you may. In the Customized > Views > HUD > Bottom bar . xml document the last word "view" needs to be capitalized to "View". Best suggestion is get Notepad++ and open the file with that and make a small edit. Works fine for me now.
