madmax83 saidthe level filter doesn't work as it should be. my char is lvl 15(lvl ofset 0) and questhelper showed lvl 18 quest(just had to find someones body but that place is surrounted by lvl 16-18 mobs)

taemobulok saidI have this quest called Enraged Wildkin. It doesn't tell me where to go instead it jumps to where should I turn it in. I haven't done the quest. There are a couple more quests like this for lvl 30's I believe. Is there a way I can update quest helper myself for the coordinates rather than waiting to get it fixed? Pls give in detail to manually update this mod. Thanks.

syeager saidSomebody correct me if I am wrong. I think objective coordinates initially come from another addon and they can be wrong for some quests. But QH keeps track of new found objectives and if you find a new one, it will be included into your local database. And and if you care to send updated DB file to the developers (see "how can I help" above), they can be included in the next release of QH.
Meanwhile, if you have a quest that QH doesn't show right, read the quest description and consult some web resource.
However I see one problem here. This method lets you add new entries. But It can't remove wrong ones. But fortunately wrong locations are rather rare. Most quests work just fine.

Anyways, I've recently downloaded QuestHelper, and I am trying to use it on the PTR. It doesn't work. Nothing shows up and I can't even type /qh or /questhelper, if I click enter nothing happens. It is really strange. It will just stand there in the typing box, doing nothing. If I type something else, it works. It only occurs with /qh or /questhelper. Is this a known issue/fixable issue?

I tried the link for the mirror, but theres nothing there.
Any ideas what I can do
I also downloaded all the files and tried putting them into the Addons folder manually but that didn't work either.

syeager saidI just stumbled on interesting problem. There is a quest where I have to create some items (don't remember name). And you can do it only once in 10 min. So every time I create this item, QH remembers my current location as a quest objective location and directs me to one of the places where I created it before. This is not really a problem for me, but if I share my data file and it will be distributed to other people, they will get misleading information and will run all over the place trying to find quest items that are not there.

lonadar saidDescribe what you are doing to try to download the file. You might also try the alternate mirror at the address near the top of the documentation.

mamav saidAfter the maintenance on Wednesday 25th I started getting errors from QH while looting - "bla-bla-bla cannot find 'COPPER'/nillvalue" or something like that.
Anybody else got this problem, or any ideas how to get rid of it?

lonadar saidMake sure you have the most recent (0.47.19) version of QuestHelper. This issue was fixed several versions ago. If you are sure you have the latest version, you might list the other addons you are using. One of them may be causing the issue.

When on my main screen, there is no arrow to show me where to go, all i see is the arrow on the minimap and the marching ants on my main map...
How can I get the big arrow to show just above my action bars?

Bengarion saidUsually when i first log on the Cartographer arrow isn't showing. Doing the command /qh cartwp once turns it off. Doing it again turns it back on - and this time the arrow shows.
Evidently, at least on my ui, quest helper thinks that cart. is displaying the arrow - where in reality cart. isn't. Turning it off then back on wakes both sides up and works like a champ. I've made a macro that has the /qh cartwp twice.
